A Love Story

My immediate reaction to this song was next as it struck me as heavy and melancholy. However on my second listening I was deeply moved. It is a beautiful song from an amazing album Closing Time. Tom Waits has a unique timbre to his voice and the lyrics are brillantly thought provoking. For anyone who has had a relationship that failed for some reason or another this is worth a listen!
